I recently bought stuff from house and home which I later requested for a settlement letter from Noni Bongwe from the heard office, which she forwarded it to me via email, I then asked her if the settlement she sent me is the only amount I needed to pay and I asked if there won't be any monies that I'll need to pay on the later stage, she said no that was the amount I needed to pay in order to close my account. I went to Mannlyn to settle the account which I asked the to double check for me and then they called the online team who confirmed that the latter issued is the one that I needed to pay. I recently received a statement from Rainbow finance claiming I'm owing, an amount of R1043. I don't understand why I should pay an amount I don't have as the reason I wanted to settle the account is that I wanted to commit to other thing financially, someone from House and home or rainbow finance will mess up and I have to suffer. someone please help with this as I won't afford to pay such amount, I need in zerorized, I even have the settlement letter with me.
