I phoned Hi-Finance this morning to get a settlement amount on my account. Spoke to the guy. After about 5 mins i got the amount which is the same as the amount outstanding. So if this is correct i will be paying for Life insurance and monthly account fee for the next 21 month in advance. Why do i pay for a monthly account fee if there is nothing of me on their system? Why do i pay for insurance if they have all there monies? Or is this the way JD Consumer Finance is making money out of people by letting them pay for stuff that is irrelevant.
If i do the calculations i am paying R 781.20 in life insurance and R 1301.16 in monthly account fee extra if I settle my account now for the next 21 months.
