SETTLEMENT

I called rcs to get the settlement amount as i was going to settle and close the account. i got a settlement amount of R5568.51 which was only valid for the date 5 April. i was advised that i needed to pay that amount, send a letter to rcs card division 0215974733 advising of account closure.i faxed thru this letter on the 09th April. i got a call a week later from rcs as to how i can close the account when i have over R700 outsanding cause of purchases i made. I informed the lady that i called and that is the information i received from thier agent and i did as i was advised to take it up with her and listen to their recordings. I then received a call this morning from a Mandy advising me that i needed to pay R128. i advised her that i paid a settlement amount and i in no way know how their system works that it didnt tally up the fact that i had made a purchase the day before i requested to settle. i asked the lady to go thru their recordings as i really dont want to be bothered with phonecalls of me having an outstanding amount as i did what was required of me and i will not appreciate being in arrears either as i have done what was told to me. please get in sorted internally.
