I wanted to purchase a dressing table from @Home over the weekend. The size of the table is enough to fit in my car, no delivery required! I was however told that the store does not have stock and that I would have to place an order and it would be delivered to me at a charge of R400. I told the store assistant that I did not want it delivered so I was told that I would need to go pick it up at the warehouse in Centurion as they would not deliver it to the store for me to pick it up! This is a complete rip off! I don't see why I need to pay R400 to have something delivered that can fit in my car and secondly why I should be inconvenienced and have to pick it up from Centurion when I live in Joburg! I also have an 8-5 job and was told that the warehouse does not work weekends and has 9-3:30 working hours. When am I supposed to pick this up? And R400 is a ridiculous price! I think this is a complete rip off to force customers to use your delivery service which is unfair and expensive! I will not accept this and want an explanation of why you work like this! I really don't feel like buying from you guys anymore!
