I have been a loyal shopper of pick n pay instore and online for decades. Pick n pay has recently contracted mr delivery to do their deliveries and they do not deliver to Berea, Johannesburg. I was told by the pick n pay call centre that "unfortunately mr delivery chose the surburbs they will deliver to." I'm sorry... the last time I checked, pick n pay had customers everywhere. Why would pick n pay choose a service provider who will only deliver to some areas and not to some?
On the online shopping site, pick n pay has a suggest you surburb field which doesn't work. I have tried suggesting over a number of days and it shows "please wait" and gets stuck there. I had the call centre agent try the function too and it didn't work.
mr delivery has traditionally never delivered to my area, even just fast food and that is fine. It's their choice. But I am a loyal shopper of pick n pay and I expect to be catered for irrespective of *who* pick n pay chooses to deliver their groceries!
To say I am irritated is an understatement and I do expect this matter to be resolved for all of us who live in this area and can't get groceries delivered to us anymore.
