In June/July - My sister bought a TV (PLASMA or LCD) at Price n Pride future shop in Korsten Port Elizabeth. Within 3 months (September) the unit went faulty and it was taken back to the shop.
Monthly she requested feedback from the store sales consultant Noluthando with no clear feedback. According to them it was taken to repair centre and is being repaired. In December I was in the store for 3 consecutive days to get clarity on this issue and I was told it will be fixed as they contacting the repair centre.
My sister now is interested to get the unit she was money paid back to her but Price n Pride they told her she cannot cancel the contract. I went home this month and I had an opportunity to go and meet with the store manager she could not provide any solutions. She referred to the Lady which was in -store working on their books and they told us the contract its not going to be cancelled.
I believe they failed to deliver on their of resolving the faulty unit and I think the customer has right to cancel the contract if she is not happy.
