Good day,
Please note the below matter in which I request for your intervention.
This past weekend I deposited a couch at an East London BEARES branch only to receive a call yesterday that the staff has mistakenly sold the same couch (which was the last) to another buyer.
I am not in agreement with this and believe that it is a breach of agreement with me the client, that it is unethical business practice and that this is a contravention of the consumer protection act (CPA) South Africa.
I spoke to the store manager Ndumie Kenye, yesterday (March 25) following a call from the sales person who called in to inform me that the couch (which was the only one remaining in stock hence i rushed to deposit it and requested they remove it from the floor) had been sold to another customer when she was off work.
I informed the manager that I would not accept this and that I requested she retrieves the couch from the second buyer and provide me feedback by today (March 26) by 12h00 but I have no feedback from the store. Please could you assist me as I really want the couch and am not interested in a refund.
