It is such a bad reflection on a good shop or company when you are confronted by rude staff and even worse when that staff member does not care how he is addressing you.
My mother in law and i were standing at the butchery waiting for assistance, meanwhile the butchery staff members continued to do their work while they could see us and four other customers waiting to be assisted. When one did eventually come assist us he was in the middle of a loud conversation with one of his colleagues, he looked at us but as we gave our order he was STILL in conversation with his collegue so he did not herar what we had asked for. At this point we were extremely annoyed, what level of service is this when a customer gets such poor quality service because your personal conversation is more importants. My mother in law then told him, you did not hear what we asked for because youre talking to your friends!! He then proceeded to shout back at us in his own language!! I was shocked at the audacity of screaming back at a customer as though we wrongfully complained about his bad service. I have shopped at pick n pay practically my whole life but this is by far the worst service i have ever experience
