Last night at 00h15 we went to the McDonalds in Durban Road. Due to a shift change, the McDonalds was closed until 00h30 so we decided not to wait 20 minutes and went to the McDonalds in Wellington Road, Durbanville. We drove through the drive through and the person on the answering machine said that they will open in 13 minutes. We parked. After 15 minutes we went to the door. 2 Staff members and a security guy stood in the shop (behind the counter). I knocked on the door. The security guy walked to the door, but then one of the staff members called him back. So, I stood there (in the pouring rain), not knowing what was going on. I knocked again. The staff member looked at me and showed me to go away. I was shocked! I tried to asked her, using sign language, at what time they will open, because 13 minutes passed long ago, she looked at me and just carried on with her conversation with the other staff member. I knocked again. Not one of the three had the decency to come to the door, or just put up a sign or anything. They just stood there, obviously busy with personal conversations and NOT worried about the customer or McDonalds reputation.
