I purchased a stram pressure washer at game on 23/11/2012 and paid R1000.00 for the item. I used the machine about 3 times and it was fine, as i wanted to wash my car yesterday, water was just shooting out on the pipe connecting to the handle. I suspect that it was the seal and when i checked i saw that the rubber seal on the connecting pipe to the handle is damaged. i phoned game today to find out if they can at least just replace the pipe or repair the seal and they told me that guarantee is only on the machine. the condition of my machine is still very good (it still looks new) as i did not use it often and right now i cannot even use it and don't know where to start by looking for a seal. even the pipe still looks new. How do one break that seals on the pipes if they tell me i damaged it. According to me that seal was already damaged the time i purchased the machine, it's just i never noticed it.
I think that their products guarantees should cover the item in full and not just a specific thing.
I did not aspect this kind of service from them as i purchased all my house hold items from them and know I'm battling with a item i don't even have for 4 months.
