i purchased a pair of brooks running takkies from Toni at the randburg runner. After explaining to Toni that i had a Knee opp done, that i need a pair of takkies to train in a controlled enviroment (gym) light exercise, he advised i buy a R1200.00 brooks running takkie (this is designed for maraton road runners) and so i did, after 2 months of having the takkies and utilizing them at least 3 times a week in a gym, not ON the road which they were designed for, the heel of the takkies came loose. so i called Andy, tonis partner and explained the situation, he said to bring teh takkies back and they'll send it back to teh supplier, they should exchange it for a new one as its brand new and the usage is within a gym. after a month, Toni did not contact the supplier to collect, and i called every third day to follow up, finally Toni come sback to me and says they going to glue it for you, GLUE IT. i could have done that, then he says im luck they even glueing it, and his whole attitude changed, he refused to entartian me and cut the call on me, when i went to collect teh shoes, he was not at the shop and i was forced to take my takkies back with the glue, its not fair.
