I am Beau Adams from Water Affairs. On 25-29 November we were booked in at Hotel Verde.
I filled out the laundry form for my clothes (including takkies) to be washed on 27 November 2013 and continuously had to check with reception before i eventually received it on 29 November 2013.
I was told there was a problem with my laundry, which was why it took so long. Lilian (house keeping manager) personally came to deliver my clothes and told me that the soles of my takkies came loose during the washing process. She then took my details and told me they would have it fixed before sending it back to me.
When i received the takkies it was in such a poor condition that i cannot even manage to put me feet in them anymore! I went back to the hotel to confront her about this when she said "it was in this condition". This definitely was not true as i only had them for 3 months now. I spoke to the hotel manager as well and she told me there was nothing she could do.
Had i known they would break my takkies and then send it to me in such an unusable state i would not have had it washed at all! I would like the hotel to properly fix my takkies to the condition they were in or refund me for it.
