Are you TRYING to set my house alight?

I am an avid supporter of oven bags. I think that they are wonderful.

There is one thing about them that confuses me dreadfully. On the bag, there is the following text: "MICROWAVE... Tie (bag) with special tie provided, ..." So on the day that I decided to use one of these bags in the microwave, I did exactly that.

I tied the bag with the "special tie" provided (metal, covered in a thin layer of paper), and I put it in the microwave.

Can you guess what happened?! Yes, the paper around the METAL tie caught alight.

Well done, Wooloworths. Did it not ever occur to you people that this might be a small problem, because microwaves and fire do not go together very well? By the way, do you have any idea how quicky that stupid oven bag melts??

My question to you is this: Is this a design flaw in your "special ties", or is it a feature? Do you think that my food will taste better after being scraped out of a melted oven bag? Do you think that the smell of melted plastic will give my food that special Woolworths taste??

Are you people insane??
