Purchased 2 Dettol products that were on a launch promotion.
Label indicated that I would save R5
Cashier just scanned the products normally not giving the discount.
When I pointed it out the supervisor had to be called to assist.
Supervisor gave half an instruction and then left, cashier had to call the supervisor a second time to explain that she had to feed a paper into the till-slip machine to effect the discount.
Supervisor left again, had to be called back a third time, could not properly put the discount through. Could not reverse the product, and take them off the till slip either. When I asked what would be the easiest so that I could perform the simple task of paying and leaving the store, the second supervisor who was now involved indicated that I should rather take the two products so that they can effect the discount.
Stood at the till for nearly 15 minutes.
They finally got the transaction processed, when I checked the slip they only gave discount for 1 product and not two.
Had to make another issue out of getting the second product's discount.
Could also not withdraw money at till
Terrible service.
