On Sunday at Westwood Mall:
1. We wanted to purchase sunglasses. The majority were not priced & staff "didn't know" & "would have to find out". After a wait, my husband gave up.
2. There was a Spring Offer on Like Silk Products where if you purchased 3, the cheapest was free. The cashier had no knowledge of this & I had to wait while she obtained a brochure and slowly paged through looking to find if I was telling the truth. She did not say "let me find out" or "please wait". Eventually she found the advert then screeched loudly for a supervisor, who eventually ambled along & said a voucher was needed. The cashier left the till, strolled off, came back with a voucher and I obtained my discount. At NO point during this transaction did either the cashier or the supervisor utter ONE SINGLE word to me, the client.
3. Furthermore, if Dis-Chem say their inhouse products are not tested on animals, why don't you submit this for independent verification by Beauty Without Cruelty? BWC do not charge for this, it is totally free, so what do you have to lose? I have already offered on your FB page, to sponsor any of Dischem's time in submitting an application but have had no reply.
