I purchased furniture for my new house at the beginning of this year (first week of January). I purchased everything from Furniture City as I assumed it would make the whole process much smoother and everything would be delivered timeously. I was very very wrong. Over the period of the last 2 months I have been receiving piecemeal items, often after following up several times with them to find out when I could expect my items. When calling the branch, I am told that it was the delivery company's fault, and when phoning the delivery company, they blamed the store.
When they do deliver A item.. they phone me on the day to say that they are on their way to my place. I work during the day so I can't understand how they could just expect me to leave work to fit into their schedule!!
Overall, this has been a very bad experience. I can't even cancel, as some of the outstanding items are part of a set. And to top this all off, they have already started billing me for the full amount.
