We went to our local Clicks this morning intending to buy an iron and a kettle. After browsing a bit we decided to go with the promotional item for the iron marked at R299.99
When we got to the till and it scanned for R379.99. I explained that it was marked with the picture and watt that corrisponds with the iron I had in my hand. We spoke to the manager and they kept saying that it was a HEAD OFFICE mistake, and that they could not honor the advertisemnet. After getting highly upset as they tried their best to explain, we left without the iron or the kettle.
They should have checked the price when they stacked the products and the head office should check what they advertise.
I STILL INSIST TO HAVE THAT IRON FOR THE MARKED PRICE!
