On 27 February 2013 I bought an Russell Hobbs Iron for R199.99. The cashier, a guy, did not ask for my Clicks Clubcard and so I lost 40 points. About an hour later I went back to Clicks to buy something else and the first thing the cashier, a lady, ask is for my Clicks Clubcard on which I then comment, I just bought an Iron and the previous cashier did not ask for my Clicks Clubcard.
She then said I need to go to somebody else in shop. The lady check the tillslip and said she is sorry but they cannot put this 40 points on my Clicks Clubcard.
I ask her if I could give the iron back for credit and come back later and buy it then with my Click Clubcard. Her comment was that it would be dishonest. I just left the shop.
At home I phone Clicks Clubcard on 0860 254 257 and a guy help me and said they could not put the points on my card and that it is the discression of the manager of Clicks Vredendal if they want to exchange the iron.
Why I bought this spesific iron at Clicks? I could get this very same iron at Shoprite for the same price put when I see the advertisement on the television the previous night I bought it at Clicks to earn some points. But what is the point now?
