I am writing this report on behalf of my mom who purchased a dress at the Walker Drive branch. She visited me and I noticed that the dress had a huge tear at the back
She didn't have any other clothes to wear as she was not at home and had to stitch the dress back together again as we had to attend to some business.
The Walmer Park branch (as we had some business in the Mall) informed us that they can not exchange the dress (even though this was the first time she actually wore the dress) as they didn't stock this particular colour, but other colours. She was forced to purchase another top (at another store in the Mall, at a price of R105 as the item was on sale) to cover the stitched tear, as she couldn't go about doing her business in this state with a torn dress and also because they refused to swop the dress.
She went back to the store where she initially purchased the dress later during the day and explained the situation. They were quite surprised that the Walmer Park branch did not replace the dress. Walker Drive branch replaced the dress without any hesitation.
We are not happy with the treatment we received at the Walmer Park branch and this is not the first time!
