My Father, Mr Malebo, went to the above mentioned store to buy some groceries. He was in the queue for 20 minutes when he eventually reached the pay point. He had to pack his own grocery as there were no packers. He was directed to a Mr Jabu Hlongwane (store manager) to lodge his complaint. Without any interest he told him that the next time he is in the store he must call him from his office to come and do the packing for him. His attitude was totally unacceptable. We fail to understand why such a busy store that is patronised by customers in the many many flats around that area as well as the short & long distance commuters of taxis, buses & trains should be without any packers. The customers do not have any packing knowledge and this results in the queues just building up all the time?! Customers are not treated with any form of courtesy, respect or consideration at all & this is truly inhuman as they pay the salaries of these very people who supposed to be serving them. To add salt to the wound, to be told by a whole manager that the next time my Father is in the store he must go get him to come and do the packing for him - HONESTLY???
