For the last few months I've been harassed (almost) by phone calls regarding my arrear account at Edgars. Today I paid the arranged amount and requested that my Edgars Club membership be cancelled.
I was then asked if I want to cancel the cell phone insurance as well. Upon enquiry I was infomed that I was paying for nothing since 2009. I then requested that this total be used to pay my arrear account and was informed that the onus rests on me to cancel any such subscriptions. It is only R30 per month but over 3 years it amounts to nearly R1200 which could have gne far to decrease my outstanding amount. Nobody offerred to actually do this or have this amount reallocated towards the account.
Is this not? Continual payment for something without being informed that the service has expired.
