Yesterday morning at about 10am, my husband and I went to purchase a cooler bag from Ottery Pick n Pay. after choosing the 1 we wanted we went to pay for it, and to our surprise, it scanned at R350 and not as advertised on the shelf as R159. i then made the teller aware of this and she sent someone to double check this with me, she then showed me the barcodes were different, which i fully understand, but i dnt check the barcodes of the items i buy, i then asked to see the store manager, who was on a call and another gentleman went with me to the ailse and asked me if i cannot read it says red cooler box on the shelf price tag, i then told him, ok, lets say i cant read, show me where the correct pricing is, nowhere on the 2 shelves where the coolerbag was, there was a price of R350. (and i took a picture of this) i then told him i will be reporting it to head office, and was told, fine ma'am, you may do so. i think it is pathetic, that i did not even get an apology for the mistake that was made. i didnt want this bag for free, i want to pay for what it was "advertised for" i have never had any problems with pick 'n pay ever, this is rather disappointing.
