Had to replace my Defy Fridge after only 3 years because of a internal gas leak and the product is not repairable. I am aware of two more cases of Defy fridges with of the same age and showing the same problem. Reported this matter to Defy and received confimation of complaint from Theunis Veldschoen on 23 January 2013, and nothing after that. See below copy of mail received on 01 Feb 2013 to which a reply and still nothing:
Good day,
In order to verify the suspected internal leak of the unit, I suggest the unit be brought into our workshop for evaluation.
