Rude supervisor who does not know policy (again)

Went to PNP on Saturday, bought two different flavoured bags of pnp rice cakes. Price for both items on the shelves very clearly showed R8.00. At the till, the price was rung up as R17.99 each. One lady went to get the bar code with the R8.00. (She brought only one price sticker and not for both flavours). The supervisor came over, with an terrible attitude, to correct the price. I asked her about the double the different on incorrect pricing and she refused to give it to me, claiming that double the difference would cost me more. I left it there as I was in a mayor hurry this after I q-ed for an excessive amount of time (20 people in the que and only 3 open tills).
I just worked it out now, and I did not get ANY discount.By reading the policy (If any item scans at a higher price than displayed on shelf and the barcode corresponds, we will give you the item at the marked price, PLUS double the difference off the first item and the subsequent items at the lower price), for these items double the difference would have been: R17.99 - R8.00 = R9.99 x 2 = R19.98. There we two different flavour i.e. two different items, it should then have been R19.98 x 2 = R 39.96
