Bought 6 dining chairs in December. Hardly used them. Sat on one 2 week-ends ago and it collapsed. Checked and the crossbeam that should have supported the leg was not glued as was all the others and was just held in place by 2 thin nails, Tried phoning the branch: N1 in cape Town at 021-595-1894 to organize repairs, but it just goes to a fax line after a long wait. Tried a number of times - same result
Complained on Helopeter and was promised the a Quality Dept would contact me.
No "Quality dept" ever contacted me. I finally got hold of a Carnel at the N1 branch and she agreed that it was a construction mistake and since I paid for delivery in the 1st place she promised to arrange delivery of a replacement chair and to contact me with the details. That was on the 26th of Feb. Today is the 4th - still not a word!
