I was in the PEP Kolonade store today and a poor pensioner womans wallet was from her handbag when a customer asked for help as there was no assistance. When the pensioner helped the lady she was a victim of crime and someone else her wallet from her handbag with her pension money in.
When I took her to speak to the manager and have a look at the security camera he said that it couldn't be done as a person from IT has to come in to take the video and they will not come out on a Sunday. It wouldn't help her anyway as it will take them another 2 days for her to look a the video and get the culprit.
WHY!! Do stores have video facilities as it CAN NOT be used when it is needed! I was so furious about their attitude and no assistance I left the clothes that I wanted to buy and will not go back there! What if it happens to me and they steel my wallet! I am sorry! NOT willing to take that kind of risk! If their security is not up to standard when it is needed I will make sure that no one goes to that store, if their wallets get and there is no help from the cameras it is a terrible loss!
