I bought a Guess watch for my mother for mothersday from Sterns on the 12th of May 2012. I paid R2 295 for the watch with additional insurance of R229-50. Due to an accident the watch got damaged. I took it, in November 2012. I was phoned by a lady witch told me that the watch was badly damaged and that it would cost more than a new one and that I would have no warranty. They were not supposed to send it for repairs. Thuli phoned and send me an insurance claim form. Now they repaired the watch. Now the insurance will pay damages but it was badly damaged and I have no warranty now for a watch that's only 7 months old??
