My son, still has no Christmas present!

Hi, I purchased a Leappad 2 for my son late September, with the intention of giving it to him for his sixth birthday on 3rd October. However, my husband (who works in Joburg) then got a good deal on a small quad bike for him, and we decided to give him that and keep the Leap Pad (unopened) for his Christmas present. On Christmas morning, no matter what we did, it would not turn on :-( So as soon as Makro opened again, I took the trip back, to hopefully get a refund or swop, only to be told they had no more stock, and because I had purchased it in September, no refund either. They would, however send it for repairs, but the supplier was closed and only opened on 10th Jan... I agreed, as that was my only option. I was told I would receive an sms when it was ready. No sms arrived, so about a week after the 10th, I phoned, and was told it was not yet ready, had been sent to get fixed. A week later, still no news -I went in again, same thing and this went on! After speaking to numerous people, I was now told over a week ago, it was sent to another store, not yet repaired, and if I would give them another week, they would get backto me. I am STILL waiting, HELP!
