Still waiting for the bed one month after paying

We wanted to buy a 3/4 bed for our son who is moving into a flat in Grahamstown. On Saturday 26th January, we went to Dial A Bed in Amanzimtoti. The salesman showed us a very expensive bed that was over R8000 and he told us it was on special with a 20% discount. We decided to buy this bed which we paid for in full.

We arranged for delivery on the 31 Jan as we were driving to Grahamstown to organise our sons flat. On the 30 Jan we were phoned to say that they didn't have the bed in stock but it would arrive on the 1 Feb, which was still alright as we were staying until the 4th Feb. Friday afternoon i phoned the manager, Hans, as the bed still hadn't arrived but he didn't't know anything about it.

It turns out that the only bed of its type in South Africa is in the Amanzimtoti store and my son had to sleep on the floor for nearly two weeks until a temporary bed could be delivered. It is now 22 February and after numerous phone calls we still do not have the bed. Even Hans cannot get the warehouse to come to his store, collect and deliver the bed to our son.

I contacted Thabiso on the customer care line and he is now trying to sort this farce out. CEO please call me...
