Poor service

On the 6th of February I took in a pair of Ray Bans which I wanted to return or have repaired due to one of the lenses cracking, after attempting to get some assistance from the sunglass hut in Edgars I was referred to the manager due to assistants insistence that I sat on the glasses, so I went to the manager at the main store in Gateway, I was told that it would be sent off to their assessment centre via overnight mail and I will have feedback by the 8th of Feb, since I never heard back, I popped in the store on the 11th of Feb, only to find my glasses still at the store, it being the manager, Roxanne's, day off, I could not get an explanation as to why nothing had been done to date. I asked the employee at the store if the glasses looked like they had been sat on, she said no, at the time there was another customer at the store trying to argue a fault which seemed to be a manufacturer fault but he too was told that his problem will fall under the repair policy which has a cost associated with it as opposed to it being a manufacturer fault which calls for replacement at no cost to the customer. To date I have not even received a courtesy call or any sort of follow up.
