I Went to the Sunglass Hut in the Edgars branch Canal Walk yesterday. Looking for 2 specific Prada sunglasses. They did not have the glasses in store but one of the sales consultants asked me to return within 5 minutes as he went to the other Sunglass Hut store in the mall. (Their e-mail system was offline due to renovations in Edgars)
I got assisted in a friendly and helpfull manner. They only had one of the glasses in store and I decided to first enquire from the Tygervalley store before I make the purchase. This morning when I called the Sunglass Hut in Tygervalley the service I got was the poor to say the least. The guy was unfriendly and it was clear that he is not interested in assisting me. I will return to Canal Walk now to buy the glasses even though it is further from my home. What a shock that service from one stoor to another can be so different.
Thank you Canal Walk! Tygervalley: you lost a (R2750 x 2) R5500 sale because of poor service. Maybe something to think about in future when assisting clients?
