I purchased an Onyx Headboard from Furniture City in Feburary last year (2012). Sometime in November i realised that the beam supporting my mattress has cracked. I then reported it to Furniture city Witbank, it showed that It was still within the warranty period. Themba told me their warehouse will be closed in December so they'll only look into it in January 2013.
January came and nobody could give me a solid answer. Needless to say I kept calling them and not the other way around. - What happened to simple old customer service???
It's now almost the end of February, I've been given the run around again - this time by their call centre. Now the beam is into pieces and I have no place to sleep.
Now the branch's contact details aren't working, they haven't bothered to call me.
I've never seen such lack of professionalism. I will not be buying furniture from there ever again.
