I bought a couple of furniture last year through Furniture City Arbour Crossing. Unfortunately just less than a year the furniture has started deteriorating. The furniture purchase was in the region of about R55000 if not more. The bed mattress which I use all by myself is making squeaky sounds and the sponge has gone very soft. There are a few things inside the mattress that they used as some areas have a very hard feel to it and some are soft. Definitely not something comfortable to sleep in. The couch which I use myself I started noticing about 5 months that the sponge is very weak and when you sit it goes all the way down to the hard part of the couch. The wingback chair which I have since returned to them 2 weeks ago started cracking by the legs. You can see that the quality of the wood used is bad. They came to fetch it to repair but I have not heard from anyone since. I can obviously see that by the time I'm done paying for all this furniture it will all be long in the dustbin. This is completely a disappointment as I was always under the impression that their quality was of high standards. I will NEVER EVER buy from Furniture City again and not anyone I know too.
