I am very disappointed with the service I received from the TRUWORTHS CAVENDISH store in Claremont.
I've purchased a wrist watch on February 13, 2013, as a gift. Only to find when I handed over the gift on Friday, February 15, 2013 that the watch is not working. The sales person who assisted me when purchasing the watch, gave me the price tag and advised me to go to the counter and make a payment, while he will box the goods for me as last watch on display. When I returned the watch on Saturday, February 16, 2013 for an exchange for another watch. I was advised by Tasneem Miller, I assume she's the Area Manager, "to take the watch to a jeweler, perhaps the battery is not working" I've asked her that within 2 days, she advised me to take the watch to a jeweler she replied me that Truworths policy is never to sell any used watches with scratches (in the condition I returned it) and also that they can't sell the watch to another customer.
Tasneem questioned me (THE CUSTOMER) Why didn't I check the watch before I left the store
