On the 2nd June (Sunday) I went to Gateway, Watches Unlimited. I went into the store to get 4 of my watches battery replaced. The lady had told me it would take 30 minutes, she gave me a little "ticket", I left and returned back to the store after 30 minutes to pay and fetch my watches.
The same lady hands me 3 of mt four watches, so i ask where is mt 4th watch, she then "acts" all forgetful and hands me my 4th watch, and tells me they could not change that watch battery, because before they could attempt to change it, the watch broke! I handed her a watch in excellent condition and she returns me a watch broken and the glass was scratched.
I had called their head office in Musgrave, and the receptionist tells me that they cannot do much to help me, she gave me the Gateway branch managers name and number and told me to get him to help me. I did contact Rakesh the Gateway manager, however he seemed very unhelpful and uninterested.
My watch was gifted to me by my Dad on my 21st birthday, he passed away 2 days later. This watch has so much sentimental value.
