I went into Dis-Chem yetserday at 17h30 with my family. At the door the security on duty insisted on taping close my shopping bag. As i didn't want my bag sealed, I first suggested my husband goes into the shop while i wait at the door. The security then still insisted and started almost forcing the issue of taping my bag. Finally when i lost it and shouted that he moves away from me, i asked to see the store manager, A manager happened to be at the door when the incident happened. I then questioned him and asked why is it that certain shoppers are asked to seal bags and not everyone, he had such a bad attitude and said to me the security guard is just doing his job, I cannot enter his shop without my bag being sealed. Needless to say, I left the store, but could point out 3 other persons entering with BIGGER shopping bags not being sealed. Dis-Chem George is the ONLY dis-chem store I have been to that seals shopping bags, and chooses who they will "incrimante" even before entering the store.
