POOR CUMMUNICATION

I called Jeep baby to enquire about buying a Stroller and Car seat (14-Feb-2013). I then went on to ask about pay method. The lady that answered kindly told me that I can pay by EFT or pay as I collect. The next day (15-Feb-2013) I drove 40km to the distribution office during my working hours as they are only open during the week. To my shock I was told they do not take debit/credit card as they dont have the facilities. The only available option they gave me was to find a Standard Bank and make the deposit or Withdraw from an ATM (a total R4900). It was a painful hassle to get the cash together considering I was rushing against time.
And when I finally brought the cash no one thought it kind to appreciate the effort I put, It was a matter of cash/product exchange.

I would really suggest that the methods of payment should be communicated clearly on the phone, make sure the customer understands that you do not take cards at all. Please try avoid such a thing from happening agai
