I wanted to deposite over 100g cash into one of foreign exchange account which was held at Standard Bank. So i went to Standard Bank in Mayfair which was closer. The one fat coloured lady, must be some supervisor sort or manager? told me that she won't take the money as other people have already deposited over 200g of cash into the account that i wish to deposit. I then said to her that the other cash deposited transaction wasn't done by me, she then replied, irrespective that the other cash deposite transaction wasn't done by me, they wouldn't take my cash as she said only 200g cash max per account holder may be accepted in the branch. I mean, what is a bank for if you can't deposit money into the account? I mean, i can understand, if only 200g per customer cash can be deposited, but that fat coloured lady refused to take my cash, which was over 100g. She basically told me to go out of the bank. Where is the customer service in that? Her attitude was absolutely, no common sense of what happens if i go out of the bank and get robbed outside? Unprofessionally runned bank, no customer service at all, wrong perople running the bank.
