Unable to withdraw cash

I went to 2 different standard bank ATM's and was unable to withdraw cash. Was unable to withdraw and left without cash. Tried to call the Call centre this morning with call reference 36817162, was bounced to 3 different people only to be told my chip on my card may be faulty and need my card to be replaced which will take 5 days to be delivered into the branch, which the consultant could not even find the branch I requested the card to be delivered to. Then I find out I am being charged fees for Elite banking but have an Achiever account.

I have been a long standing client with Standard bank and this is not the service I expected from the bank as my dad was a Standard Bank client and My sister a Private Banking customer.

I am going to switch to a bank that will probably deliver my new card tomorrow!

I will make it my duty to inform as many people as possible as to the level of service they can expect.
