I purchased the above laptop about 5 years ago for like R16000 at Incredible Connection Canal Walk. For the past 2 years, I have been experiencing problems with the video driver and I have seen via various forums that this machine was recalled because of this very problem. Is there anything I can do about this please?
I have emailed Incredible Connection via their website, but no response in 2 weeks. Below is the response I have received via Packard Bell's website:

The spares for this unit is absolute and cannot be repaired. As for the
recall, Unit is 5 years old as stated and cannot be recalled anymore as the
warranty expired 4 years ago.
