My Account balance

October 2012 i paid off my markham account, which was R1797.34, and my balance was 00.00 after that and i requestd they close my account. December 2012 i went back to check if they did close it, when the cashier check for me the balance it only shows that i have paid R1342.00 instead of R1797.34. i have been to the store about 5times but still i ddnt get clear explanation about how come its R1342 not the amount i paid. instead i get diferent balances all the time.
