I went to HiFi Corp Westgate 27 Jan to purchase Mini Dvd System and was assisted by Sales rep Aven Raman. The specific By Design model that I chose was out of stock, he advised that he would order fm HiFi Corp Pta, I asked that he call me the following week to advise on delivery. During the time of dealing with Aven Raman, he displayed a bad attitude and also made a remark about caucasians which is unacceptable!! On leaving his dept, I asked where I can purchase a surge plug for computer, he said that I must go to Matrix Store. Matrix Store had no stock and sent me back to HiFi Corp-this is absurd!! who sends customers elsewhere when clearly product is stocked inhouse? The following week I had not heard fm Aven Raman and went back to HiFi Corp on 2 Feb, I bought a voice recorder and then proceeded to query with Aven Raman why he had not phoned? he said quote"the truck had broken down". I asked that he call me by this week 6 Feb to advise on delivery. Yesterday 8 Feb, I still had not rcvd courtesy call? and phoned Assist. Store Mgr Julie Ann Pillay to lay a complaint. She apologised on Aven Raman's behalf and offered 10% discount comp. The ill handling of customers/sales needs to be addressed!
