DON'T PURCHASE KELVINATOR - STOCK UNAVAILABLE

On 17 Dec 2012 our Model KC9650TLE8 Gas stove (with electric double thermo-fan) oven's front glass panel was shattered, leaving us with the Festive season around the corner and no oven. Our insurance was only willing to cover the damage amounting to the replacement of the oven door, but we were told by Kelvinator warehouse in Jhb that they did not have stock, and that we had to wait till the second week in Jan 2013 for new stock to arrive from China. As most businesses were already closed for the Festive Season, we didn't have a choice but to wait. When we phoned during the 3rd week of Jan '13, we were told that no stock has arrived, and that we now had to call a week later. After numerous attempts we eventually got hold of David again. When we were informed that no stock has arrived yet again, we asked him what we were supposed to do now, upon which his response was and I quote "If I tell you the truth, I Don't know!!! He then added that he was now hoping to receive delivery sometime during March '13.Requests to keep us updated till now has been met with silence. IS IT STANDARD PRACTISE TO SELL A PRODUCT AND NOT HAVE REPLACEMENT PARTS AVAILABLE??? NEVER AGAIN A KELVINATOR, EVER..
