I recently purchased a Kelvinator oven and hood and am absolutely appalled at how these units passed QC. Kelvinator are truly not sticking to their slogan 'A Global Tradition of Excellence' anymore... One of the stove plates have been fitted scew so when cooking, the pot is always at an angle.
The glass panel where the knobs are attached is not aligned with the oven door panel; making our installation into the built in cupboard absolutely impossible. If the oven is aligned to the left, the right cupboard scrapes alongside the glass oven panel and if aligned to the right, the knob panel scrapes alongside the drawers. When using the oven for the first time it emitted a nauseous stench which took hours to air out; and of which we are now weary to make use of it again in case it reoccurs.
