When I placed my order I opted to pay the rather expensive delivery fee of R490. Rather large amount but fine.
I recieved an sms to say someone would be in touch with me - fine but no day confirmed. So I call the call center and I am told I will recieve the purchased goods on Saturday. I am also told that someone has to wait at home the whole day. Unacceptable!! Nobody can say what time (even if just morning or afternoon) and guess what - if you are not there you are charged an additional delivery fee of R490. Highway!
Now let me tell you something, this is unacceptable. For R490 at least have the delivery company call ahead an hour in advance or give an indication morning or evening, which is many good companies do. For all I know I could be waiting around the house the whole day twiddling thumbs until the evening. What kind of customer service is this?
Also I must say the call center is less than helpful too. Its not my problem if you are moaning that you have more than 200 people you have to delivery to on a day.
