Shocking treatment received during claiming

I had a freak accident on the 6th of October 2021 in the rain where the car slipped and I lost control. My BMW X4 Xdrive 2019 model was written off. According to the policy I had, they needed to replace the car. Obviously this being very expensive on their part, they have stalled and tried every tactic to avoid paying and trying to make me out to be some criminal. The treatment received has been so disturbing from the first responder. They tried to insinuate I was speeding or distracted. They did a reconstruction of the accident, went to the scene of the accident etc etc. They did not find me at fault and the only reason they had to reject my claim was the fact that my residential address was not up to date. They failed to explain the relevance of the address to a claim of an accident that happened on a public road during a trip to and from family. The exact words from the assessor were "I would have not been on the N3 if I stayed in Cape Town." It has been over 2 months and Dial direct is still showing me how big of a mistake I made insuring my car with them by not resolving this issue. I would not be surprised if they were busy trying to find other ways of not psying out. I feel completely violated and not even able to focus on dealing with the trauma of the actual accident.
