Edgars had there red hanger sale on for 4 days only from 30 January 2014 to 2 February 2014 and they advertised 30% off all Addidas, Puma Nike and Pro Action Footwear. Now foot wear means "outercoverings for the Fett such as Shoes, Boots and Sandals". So I decided the visit the Edgars at Vaal Mall in Vanderbijlpark to purchase a pair of Puma Sandals as it is 30% off. but when I got to the till i was told that it was only 30% off takkies. I mentioned that the Advertising does not mention only Takkies it Mentiones Footwear and this includes Sandals. The supervisor was called and she in turned said that she cant help me as the specials are loaded at headoffice, I phoned the Edgars Customer care centre on Monday 3 February to log a complaint for false advertising and the agent on the phone told me that she will log a complaint and send it to the store Manager as it is up to him. (this is already contradicting the feedback i got from the supervisor in store) I was supposed to get feedback from the Agent with a REf number for my complaint and up to now i have not received any feedback of ref number. I need Edgars to get back to me wrt this False advertising.
