After viewing Edgars adverstisement on national tv that Pro-action merchandise will be on promotion, i went into the store, after picking out several items on promotion and proceeding to the till, i was told that unfortunately they received an email late on Friday saying that the promotion has been cancelled. This is very poor and extremely unprofessional customer service from a store as big as Edgars.
The store manager in addition was very unhelpful and so was the call centre who could not even route me to a supervisor to deal with my complaint since it was a weekend and supervisors were not available then or very busy with other issues.
Edgars is generally known for their great customer service but my perception has now changed.
