I took my carat white gold chain in for reapirs to Sterns in the Glen. After collecting my chain, I did not even look at the repairs. When eventually deciding to wear it, I decided to put it on only to discover the chain was not the same chain that I has given in for repairs and also that my 24 carat chain had now turned black.
I went to the store to complain and they refused ti assist, I had pictures of this chain and went to two independant jewelers in the Glen who confirmed that the chain that I had received back after repairs is not the same chain that I handed in.
Neither the branch manager nor the regional manager want to assist me, and refuse to even discipline the staff. I dont want their money as I have my own, all I want is my chain back as this was given to me by my late brother in law who passed away and this chain is of great sentimental value to me.
