There was a lady in the line that complaind about bad service to the manager (like i have a couple of times), and after the usual excuses she left and management stood there joking about her and laughing. That must have been the 1st time I have seen the staff smiling. The shelves are empty most of the times, the butchery and bakery staff are doing everyone a huge favour by helping them, and the cashiers tend to ring double a lot of times, so i have to double check my slips bevore i leave. On the other hand Pick n pay in Edenvale terrace road has got the best service i have seen at a Pick n pay, and the food is great.
